“Lawyers may often do well, but not often by doing good...even when they try.” – Unknown

Stiff. Boring. Disinterested. Stodgy. Critical. Cynical. Aloof. Greedy. Self-absorbed. Selfish. People often use these words to describe their general impressions of attorneys. However, at Meyer, Unkovic & Scott, our actions speak contrary to these preconceived notions and stereotypes.

The associates at Meyer, Unkovic & Scott believe that their skills and energy are not limited solely for use in the boardroom and the courtroom, but likewise can make a difference by touching and enriching the lives of others in our community. Based upon this belief, we have become involved in various worthwhile causes for the purpose of helping those who reside in Western Pennsylvania. Both individually and as a group, we volunteer in an effort to help make a difference in the communities in which we live and work. Over the past few years, we have come together to volunteer at events benefiting local non-profit organizations.

We have also undertaken leadership roles in a variety of area non-profit organizations where we volunteer our time and serve on boards:

The life of an attorney should expand beyond the confines of the office. At Meyer, Unkovic & Scott, the associates don’t just talk about helping others in the community, we roll up our sleeves and do it.
