At Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP, our principal objective is to meet the needs of our clients for quality legal representation in the most conscientious, ethical and cost-effective manner as possible. Generally, this objective is met through an hourly billing basis that comports with the terms and conditions that are set forth in Meyer, Unkovic & Scott's Standard Engagement Letter (pdf).
However, there are occasions when an hourly fee basis is not practical or feasible. Consequently, it is the Firm's practice to work with its clients to develop rate structures and billing procedures that are mutually agreeable, including alternative billing arrangements such as fixed or task-based fees, contingent fees and discounted fees.
We encourage both prospective and existing clients to compare our fees and services and to obtain second opinions.
