Omair Zahid is an Associate in Meyer, Unkovic & Scott’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group.

Omair previously worked for the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office where he was a member of the General Trial Unit and responsible for prosecuting a wide range of cases.

Prior to that, Omair worked as a legal fellow at Kennametal where he supported the attorneys of the intellectual property office and reviewed international sales agreements.  He also worked as a corporate legal extern in the corporate legal department of UPMC where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, regulatory requirements, and other corporate transactions.  In addition, he has worked as a corporate legal and compliance intern in the legal department of Universal Health Services and as a summer law clerk with Federal Home Loan Bank Pittsburgh.

Omair received his J.D. in 2020 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship as well as the Robert Maxwell DeBroff prize for achievement in the area of Corporate Law.  He received his B.A. from the University at Buffalo, SUNY in 2017 and was a member of Pi Lambda Phi fraternity.

Omair resides in Millvale and enjoys staying active, watching sports with friends, and visiting his family in New York.
