MUS Attorney Gary M. Sanderson Appointed to Providence Connections Board of Directors

Meyer, Unkovic & Scott Attorney Gary M. Sanderson was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Providence Connections, a nonprofit family support and early-childhood education center located in Pittsburgh’s Northside.   Providence Connections seeks to enrich the lives of children and their families by offering a full range of family services and programs, including child care services, after school and camp programs, a maker space, in-home support, and adult education.

Sanderson focuses his practice on a wide range of business matters. He works with new and established companies to navigate complex transactions and disputes, and is a member of the firm’s Real Estate & Lending, Corporate & Business Law, Litigation, Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy, International Law, and Immigration Practice Groups. His practice includes corporate counseling and acquisitions, real estate leasing and acquisition, construction/design contract drafting and negotiation, foreclosure actions, title disputes, and creditors’ rights representation in bankruptcy and receivership cases.

He is active in the Allegheny County Bar Association, having served as the Chair of the Corporate, Banking, and Business Law Section and is a council member of the Real Property Section.  He has also served on the Coaches Committee for the 3 Rivers Venture Fair and as the Vice Co-Chair of the Urban Land Institute – Pittsburgh Chapter – Young Leaders Group. Sanderson regularly provides volunteer and pro bono service, including the firm’s Landlord Tenant Project.

Sanderson earned both his J.D. and B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. He lives in the North Hills with his wife and three sons.
