MUS Honored By the Boy Scouts of America Laurel Highlands Council

Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP was presented with the Boy Scouts’ Whitney M. Young, Jr., Service Award at the Boy Scouts of America Laurel Highlands Council’s annual dinner, which took place February 21 at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh.

The firm was recognized for its support of ScoutReach, the urban and low-income scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America, which provides opportunities for youth who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in scouting activities. Currently, nearly 1,500 boys and girls participate in the ScoutReach program throughout the greater Pittsburgh and surrounding regions.

The Service Award is named in honor of Whitney M. Young, Jr., civil rights leader and former executive director of the National Urban League.
