The Women’s Law Association at Duquesne University School of Law has named Meyer, Unkovic & Scott Partner Andrea Geraghty as the 2020 Woman of the Year Award recipient.

Geraghty will be recognized for her distinguished career and dedication to advancing gender equality in the legal profession, and will be honored during a formal reception and ceremony at the DoubleTree Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh on March 10. She serves on the Board of MLM Insurance Company, a legal malpractice insurer; is member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers; is Co-Chair of Georgetown Law Center’s Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute; is consistently recognized by her peers in The Best Lawyers In America® in Real Estate and a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer®; and is well known for mentoring women in the legal profession and the real estate industry.

Geraghty focuses her practice primarily on real estate law, advising clients on land acquisition, construction, development, operations, and management of a variety of real estate endeavors.

She earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and B.A. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Geraghty resides in Point Breeze and is a native of Claridge, PA.
