MUS Welcomes New Associate Aleksandra “Sasha” Phillips

Sasha PhillipsMeyer, Unkovic & Scott is pleased to announce that Aleksandra “Sasha” Phillips has joined the firm as an Associate in the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group.

Phillips handles a wide range of domestic and foreign matters.  Much of her practice focuses on commercial litigation including global jurisprudence, international business transactions, government investigations, and alternative dispute resolutions.

In addition, she handles DOJ investigations, securities litigation, tax, consumer protection, shareholder actions, class actions, data security, contract and sale of goods, fraud, FCPA, IP, cross-border disputes, and general commercial litigation.

An advocate of using art in wellness programs, she teaches workshops and leads motivational seminars for women in the profession for various organizations, including U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.  Phillips received several awards for her community engagement and art wellness efforts.

She received her J.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2010 and her B.F.A., magna cum laude, from Shepherd University in 1997.  Phillips resides in Mount Lebanon with her husband, Edward, also an attorney, and their four children.
