Meyer, Unkovic & Scott Real Estate attorneys Grant Scott and Andrea Geraghty were pleased to host Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership President and CEO Jeremy Waldrup at the September 2018 REAL Professionals Pittsburgh Mastermind Meeting.

Waldrup reported that the hotel market is relatively strong, along with residential, noting that there are about 4,000 units in the pipeline for residential development. The core—home to city, county, state, and federal government offices as well as offices for major corporations—is surrounded by other neighborhoods that have experienced growth including the North Shore and Strip District.

The Downtown Partnership has helped create a more vibrant Market Square. Waldrup said they’d like to increase the number of people living Downtown, and continue to bring in more retail businesses.
