Meyer, Unkovic & Scott Real Estate attorneys Grant Scott and Andrea Geraghty were pleased to host the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust at the September 2017 REAL Professionals Pittsburgh Mastermind Meeting. Rona Nesbit, who serves as the Executive Vice President of The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, discussed the trust’s efforts to revitalize the downtown area through partnerships with local businesses and the redevelopment of aging assets into mixed use facilities. The Trust’s robust programming – much of which is free – touches 2 million people each year. Rona also highlighted the Trust’s latest initiative which involves the placement of 25 public art bike racks throughout downtown, and, in 2018, they will commence the redevelopment of the 8th street block into a residential-focused, mixed use destination with an artistic flare.
