The representation and service held by the Business Disputes Group encompasses a wide range of business litigation matters. For example, the Group’s attorneys provide counsel and representation on matters involving:
Breach of contract issues
Fraud and misrepresentation claims
Conversion and trespass
Tortious interference with existing and prospective contractual relations
Class actions and consumer protection statutes
Breach of fiduciary duties
Sale of goods under Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code
Secured transactions under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code
Although the Business Disputes Group is prepared to handle any business or commercial dispute through the traditional litigation course of either federal or state courts, the Group believes that such a strategy is not always the best way to handle business disputes. As such, the Group’s attorneys participate in alternate means of dispute resolution, such as arbitration and mediation. In fact, several of the Group’s attorneys are trained to serve as arbitrators and mediators.
Regardless of the complexity or magnitude of the problem, the attorneys of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott’s Business Disputes Group possess the knowledge, experience, and dedication necessary to achieve a successful resolution of business disputes for clients of all sizes. Please contact us if you become involved in a business dispute which you are unable to resolve other than through litigation, arbitration or mediation.
