Pittsburgh, PA, June 13, 2022 – Pittsburgh law firm Meyer, Unkovic & Scott announced that Antoinette C. Oliver, a partner and member of the firm’s Management Committee, has been elected to membership of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County

Christopher P. Smith, Jr., Managing Partner, said “Meyer, Unkovic & Scott’s Litigation Department has a long tradition of membership in the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, and we could not be more pleased to have Nette join that illustrious group.  Nette is a skilled advocate, a congenial colleague and a consummate professional, and the Academy is lucky to have her as a member.”

The election of a lawyer into the Academy is one of the highest honors for a civil litigator practicing in Allegheny County.  Invites are extended only to trial lawyers demonstrating profound excellence and professionalism in their practice.  Founded in 1959, the Academy promotes the highest standards of integrity, civility, and competence in the legal profession.  Members of the Academy represent the most exceptional civil trial lawyers in Allegheny County.

Antoinette focuses her practice on representing clients in commercial disputes in both state and federal court, as well as in arbitration proceedings.  She has litigated claims for breach of contract, fraud, negligence, insurance coverage, products liability and personal injury claims, trademark and trade secret litigation, shareholder disputes, and employment law matters, including employment discrimination claims, post-employment restrictions, covenants not to compete, and wage payment claims.

She received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2007 and her B.A., cum laude, in Psychology and Government from Smith College in 2002.
