Robert E. Dauer, Jr. focuses his practice on corporate, commercial, real estate, banking and bankruptcy legal matters, and litigation.

He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and serves as the Chair of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Group and its COVID-19 Small Business Relief Group. He is also a member of the Business Litigation Group.

  • Assisting small businesses impacted by COVID-19 find financial relief with SBA Loan programs including the Paycheck Protection Loan (PPP Loans) and Economic injury Disaster Loans (EID Loans).
  • Advising clients on the CARE Package under COVID-19.
  • Routinely represents regional and national financial institutions, holding claims in excess of $100,000,000 in foreclosure, workout, litigation, and bankruptcy proceedings throughout the United States.
  • Prepared contractual documents and terms and conditions for various manufacturers and suppliers relating to the sale of goods under the UCC (Uniform Commercial Code).
  • Developed loan documents for area lending institutions, reflecting recent changes to the Uniform Commercial Code.
  • Successfully represented lending institutions in recovering against borrowers in complex real estate and business transactions.
  • Frequently represents claimants in disputes over security interests and contractual rights.
