in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article, “Rent crisis on main street: Study finds small businesses are struggling to pay their rent.”
In the article he discusses the challenges commercial real estate is continuing to face:
From his prospective, [Yarbrough] hasn’t seen a recent spike in rent default cases, but there’s no doubt he’s seeing a higher number of them on a more consistent basis than he did prior to the pandemic.
“I have noticed an increased amount of that type of work where tenants are facing challenges,” Mr. Yarbrough said. “Either macroeconomic challenges or because people’s spending habits are different.
