Sean A. Côté is an Associate in the firm’s Corporate, Real Estate & Lending, and Private Clients Practice Groups.
He focuses on corporate matters involving business structuring, contract drafting, mergers and acquisitions, and general business transactions for clients in various industries. Sean advises clients on the formation and maintenance of their corporations, LLCs, and partnerships, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulation. In addition, he handles buy-sell agreements, as well as partnership agreements, and entity selection.
Additionally, he has experience representing physicians and medical professionals at every stage of their careers. Whether a doctor is joining an established practice after graduation, purchasing an ownership stake in an existing medical practice, starting an independent practice, or planning for retirement, he provides tailored legal solutions to facilitate smooth transitions and safeguard their professional interests.
In the real estate area, he has worked on matters dealing with buying, selling, or leasing residential and commercial properties, as well as the review and drafting of contracts.
When assisting clients with their estate plans, he focuses on estate planning and administration, working closely with clients to draft key documents such as wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives to ensure a client’s wishes are clearly noted.
Sean and his wife reside in Peters Township with their daughter. In their free time, he enjoys attending Steeler and Penn State football games, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
