Matthew D. Whitworth is a member of the firm’s Real Estate & Lending Practice Group. Mr. Whitworth has been involved in a wide array of real property transactions, including the sale, leasing, and purchase of office buildings, retail facilities (such as shopping centers), apartment complexes, industrial sites, manufacturing facilities, and condominium projects.
In addition, Matt represents several major lending institutions, including local banks and national insurance companies, in all aspects of commercial real estate and corporate lending transactions.
Matt lives with his wife and two children in the North Hills. He is an avid golfer, skier, bicyclist, and scuba diver.
- In the past 5 years, Mr. Whitworth has represented various tenants in more than 50 commercial lease transactions covering more than 2 million square feet of space.
- Regularly assists clients in the structuring and negotiation of sale and purchase transactions.
- Counsels clients through the “due diligence” process.
- Has represented lending institutions in commercial loan transactions totaling more than 2 Billion Dollars.
