Pittsburgh, PA, April 27, 2023 – Meyer, Unkovic & Scott is pleased to announce that Jason P. Wrona has joined the firm as Partner in the Real Estate & Lending practice group. He joins the firm after nearly 20 years with the real estate group at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney and his jump represents a major move in the local real estate community.
Jason’s practice focuses on large, complex real estate projects that require extensive skills in stakeholder engagement, public policy, and public financing. He routinely finds himself in front of elected officials and community leaders in Pittsburgh to close headline transactions. He is also engaged politically and as a community volunteer, having served on numerous boards in various leadership positions.
Jason’s diverse experience includes serving as the lead real estate attorney for the North Shore development team comprising the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Continental Real Estate Companies, serving as General Counsel to the Pittsburgh Parking Authority for over a decade, representing the stakeholders in the development of the Second Avenue Commons, and counseling Point Park University in its campus expansion and development of the Pittsburgh Playhouse. He currently serves on the Board of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and is actively involved in various efforts to revitalize the Golden Triangle.

Jason received his J.D. in 2005 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He received his B.A. in Economics from Washington & Jefferson College in 2002.
Jason and his son and daughter reside in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. He is an avid outdoorsman and is particularly passionate about fly fishing.
