Welcome 2025 Summer Associates

Meyer, Unkovic & Scott is pleased to welcome three summer associates this year.

Will Purdy has finished his first year of law school at Duquesne University School of Law. Will is a member of the Black Law Student Association, International and Immigration Law Society, and Public Interest Law Association. Previously, he completed his undergraduate degree in history from the University of Utah.

Varshika Mandalapu has completed her second year of Law School at the University of Pittsburgh, where she was a member of Outlaw, Pitt Law Women’s Association, BALLA, and the Incarcerated Persons Legal Support Project. Previously, she earned her B.A. in Political Science and History at Rutgers University, where she was a University Student Senator at Rutgers and later functioned as a Student Body Advisor.

John C. Short IV completed his second year of law school at the University of Pittsburgh. John is a member of the Black Law Students Association and the Energy & Environmental Law Society. In addition, he was the program manager of the University of Pittsburgh Center for Sustainable Business. He completed his undergraduate degree, a B.A. in Political Science, from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was the president of the Interfraternity Council.
