Daniel is an Associate in Meyer, Unkovic & Scott’s Family Law and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Groups. His practice focuses on all areas of family law, including support and alimony hearings, divorce and custody matters, modifications to initial family court orders, name changes, adoptions, and protection from abuse hearings.

Daniel’s litigation practice has included participating in court hearings and oral arguments, comprehensive legal research and writing, discovery, depositions, assisting in jury selection, preparing lay and expert witnesses, and dispute resolution through arbitration.

Daniel has been a Solicitor and Hearing Officer for the Clarion County Domestic Relations Section and has been appointed by the Court to be a Divorce Master and to represent individuals in cases involving Children and Youth Services. He has also been appointed as an Arbitrator in addition to acting as the Hearing Officer for mental health hearings at the Clarion County Psychiatric Center.

Additional Information

Daniel and his wife, Jamie, are the proud parents to two children, Dawson and Reese, and have two dogs, Charlie and Cooper. When Daniel is not spending time with family and friends, or chasing his dogs around the yard, he loves to cheer on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Dayton Flyers.

  • Daniel has successfully represented both corporate and individual clients in civil matters before the Court of Common Pleas and Magisterial District Courts throughout western Pennsylvania in addition to practicing before Quasi-Judicial Independent Agencies such as the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board.
  • Daniel has achieved numerous dismissals and favorable settlements concerning civil claims brought against his clients.
  • Daniel successfully achieved a favorable settlement for his client against a nationally known manufacturer concerning issues with the manufacturer’s product.
