Pittsburgh, PA, November 1, 2023 – Meyer, Unkovic & Scott is pleased to announce that Andrew W. Clifford has joined the firm as an Associate in the Construction practice group and the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group.
Andrew has litigation experience handling mechanics’ liens and often works on disputes between commercial property developers, general contractors, and architects. Andrew has been named as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in 2023.
Prior to joining Meyer, Unkovic & Scott, Andrew’s practice focused on commercial litigation and construction-related matters, as well as general commercial litigation and medical malpractice.
Andrew served as a judicial intern in both the Superior Court of Pennsylvania under the Honorable David N. Wecht, as well as in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania under the Honorable Cynthia Reed Eddy.
Andrew received his J.D. in 2016 from the Duquesne University School of Law. He received his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012 where he was a Scholar Athlete and a Big East Academic All Star.
He lives in the Strip District neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Andrew enjoys spending time serving the community and playing soccer as well as serving as the head coach of the MLS NEXT Boys U-13 Beadling Soccer Club.
