Justin D. Beck is an Associate in Meyer, Unkovic & Scott’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. Justin focuses his practice on commercial disputes in both state and federal court.
Justin has extensive experience advocating on behalf of clients before trial and appellate bodies, in addition to representing their interests at mediation. He regularly represents clients in sensitive and high-stakes litigation that requires a deep understanding of the unique commercial interests, goals, and risks at stake. His experience ranges from securing injunctive relief before trial courts to arguing before the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
Justin received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2017. He then worked closely with the Honorable David B. Torrey undertaking extensive research and writing on the law and practice of workers’ compensation. Justin has previously served as co-editor of the Pennsylvania Practice Series (Volumes 6-9). He has been featured as an interviewee for the nationally-syndicated Legal Talk Network and was recently recognized as “One to Watch” in commercial litigation by the Best Lawyers in America.

Additional Information
Justin resides in the Strip District neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing the piano and exploring new restaurants. Justin is also involved in a number of civic and charitable organizations, and currently serves as a member of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra’s New Leadership Council. Justin also sits on the Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation, the parent company of Pittsburgh’s NPR station and WYEP-FM.
