The Boy Scouts of America, Laurel Highlands Council has awarded its highest level distinguished service award to Meyer, Unkovic & Scott Partner Andrea Geraghty.

Geraghty has been recognized for her dedication and years of service on the Executive Board of the Laurel Highlands Council, particularly in relation to membership, diversity and inclusion, and the Council’s Scoutreach program. She will be honored with the Silver Beaver Award during the Laurel Highlands Council Recognition Luncheon on Saturday, February 29.

The Scoutreach program is an initiative that provides special leadership and emphasis to urban and rural Scouting programs. Scoutreach is the Boy Scouts of America’s commitment to making sure that all young people have an opportunity to join scouting, regardless of their circumstances, neighborhood, or ethnic background.

Geraghty focuses her practice primarily on real estate law, including land acquisition advisement, construction, development, operations, and management of a variety of real estate endeavors. She is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and dedicates a significant amount of her time to a number of nonprofit and community service organizations.
